Research and consultancy are the areas of challenge in the college. Some faculty members, however, evinced
keen interest and have obtained research experience through M.Phil/Ph.D degrees. Research, however, is made
an approach for learning. The students are encouraged to take up study projects on the problems in the area
often in association with the local agencies. They do attend seminars, workshops and the research- oriented
tours. In UGC-approved journals, 9 research papers of faculty members have been published.
Faculty
participation in national seminars, workshops, and conferences funded by the UGC is a regular practice. Prior
to Covid break, the departments of Physics and Chemistry hosted a National Conference on ‘Forays of
Nanotechnology Research into Multidisciplines’ during 3-4, March 2020.
