chemistry department

The Department of Chemistry of Government Degree College, Ravulapalem was started in the year 1998.It offers three undergraduate courses viz., B.Sc ( Maths, Physics, Chemistry), B.Sc ( Chemistry, Botany, Zoology)and B.Sc ( Horticulture, Botany,Chemistry). The Department has two sanctioned posts. The Department has equipped laboratory.
     The Department caters the needs of students not only by providing quality education but also by mentoring them to choose bright future by opting for post graduation studies and career opportunities. The Department participates in extension activities of the college like Go Green and Clean, Social awareness programmes in nearby villages, observing Ozone Layer Protection Day etc.,
     The Department arranges career guidance programmes, Community learning, Group discussions etc., to encourage sharing of knowledge., among students, field visits to provide first hand learning experience.
     The Department conducts and participates workshops, seminars , Conferences etc., to motivate students towards research studies.
