A gender audit in colleges refers to a systematic review and analysis of policies, practices, and structures within an educational institution to identify and address gender inequalities and promote gender equity. It involves assessing various aspects of the college environment, including curriculum, admissions processes, faculty and staff composition, student, services, campus safety, and extracurricular activities, among others. Thus, gender audit has been carried out in our institution to uncover valuable insights, inform evidence-based decision-making, and guide the development of strategies to promote gender equity and inclusivity within the institution.
