VISION

The cornerstone of the English Department's aim is to establish the department as a hub of academic excellence by encouraging and fostering critical thinking, literary sensibility, life skills, and language proficiency among learners through learner-centred teaching and to provide students with the necessary communication skills to meet their professional demands in today's highly globalized/technological environment.

MISSION

• To develop the student’s ability to hone their existing skills by using effective communication strategies throughout the instruction.
• To prepare students to become more confident and active participants in all aspects of their undergraduate programs both inside and outside of the classroom.
• Regardless of their socioeconomic, cultural, or educational origins, to provide students an excellent education in the study of English language and literature.
• To assist students in obtaining the finest employment options by developing their language senses and grasp new terminology.
• To make the learners aware of social ideals.
• To teach students linguistic proficiency in preparation for competitive and other exams.
• To enhance one's whole personality through extracurricular and co-curricular pursuits.
• To plan skill-based training ICT sessions, seminars, and workshops for general improvement.
